Full Day Group Lesson

Whether it’s your first time on snow or you're aiming to refine your technique, our full-day Group Lessons will elevate your skiing or riding skills with expert guidance from our international team of instructors. With small group sizes, you’ll enjoy plenty of focused attention and loads of fun while taking your skiing or riding to next level. 

Ages: 

• Skiing: 4-15 years 
• Snowboarding: 6-15 years 
• Adults: 16+ years 
• Note: Kids aged 13+ may join adult lessons if space allows; see the Snowsports staff at check-in. 

Time: 

• 10am – 3:30pm, includes a 50 minute lunch break 

Lesson Meeting Points: 

• Check in at the Snowsports meeting area opposite the Learner Conveyor lifts in the Snowsports meeting area by 9:45am with all equipment and your pass ready for scanning. 

Select Your Lesson Ability Level: 

• First Timer: Never skied or snowboarded before. A perfect introduction to the snow. 
• Learner Zone: Comfortable with the basics, working on turning and speed control on learner areas, preparing for Green runs. 
• Green Zone: Skiing or riding with confidence and in control on Green runs. Ready to progress to Blue runs. 
• Blue Zone: Comfortable on Blue runs and gaining confidence for Red runs. 
• Red Zone: Skilled and confident on a variety of difficult Blues and Red runs. Focus on refining technique and confidence, tackling steeper, more demanding slopes. 

Please Note: 

• In the unlikely event that a lesson has only one person, there will be a reduced lesson time. 
• Lift passes and rental equipment are not included and must be purchased separately. 
• Before heading to the lifts or collecting your Rental Equipment you will need to get your MyPass Card. This is your ticket to the mountain and you can print it from one of our Kiosks by scanning the barcode in your order confirmation email or by visiting Guest Services. 
• If you're planning to visit Mt Hutt and are staying in Methven, we recommend you collect your MyPass card in advance from our Town Office at 94 Main Street between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday. 
• Alternatively, plan to be on the mountain one hour before your lesson start time to collect your MyPass Card from our Kiosks or Guest Services and your Rental Equipment. 
  • Allow extra travel time during peak times or winter conditions 

To Change Your Booking:  

• You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability.  
• Log in to your account and head to your Profile page  
• Select "Overview and then "Order History"  
• Find your order and select "DETAILS"  
• Select "RESERVATIONS"  
• Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date. 
• Note: If you made your reservation over the phone or in person, please contact Guest Services on info@nzski.com (use subject line "Reschedule Reservation"). 

Changing Lesson Reservations:  

• Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 12 noon the day before your lesson start time.
