Skin to Summit

Back for 2025! Our Skin to Summit series of events offer a safe, controlled environment set by mountain patrol for you to learn the ropes of ski touring or challenge your skills. 

Each event is timed so you can track your personal bests. 

Race Dates & Locations: 

• Race #1 Coronet Peak- 17 July
• Race #2 The Remarkables - 24 July
• Race #3 Coronet Peak - 31 July
• Race #4 The Remarkables - 14 August
  • Please note that this is an amended date following the postponement of the event originally scheduled for August 7th.
• Race #5 Coronet Peak - 11 September
  • Evening Event, please note different check-in times which will be announced via the event Facebook page. Registrations will close at 12pm the day of this event.

Event Details: 

• If you are still on course past the time allocated for the race, you may not receive a prize and timing will be cut off at 1 hour and 10 min.
• The course is mapped out by patrol, which we post in the Facebook Group the evening before the event.
• Day of registration will NOT be accepted.
• To be in the loop, join the group and receive the event course maps, any changes, and weather/road info.
• No lift passes are included in the registration fee.
