Step into elite-level training with our 3-day-a-week FWTA programme, built for young athletes ready to commit to the competitive freeride or freestyle pathway.
Combining expert coaching with strength & conditioning, nutrition, and sports psychology support, this is your launchpad to high-level performance in slopestyle, big mountain, and park terrain.
Athletes train for top-tier events like Minishreds, SSNZ Slopestyle, the NZ Junior Freeride Tour, and even the World Junior Freeride Tour.

Who It’s For

Ages 9 - 18 (younger athletes with exceptional skills may apply)

Focus on freestyle or freeride and tailored to the athlete

Ability Level: Athletes must be confident and in control on all terrain at The Remarkables, including terrain parks and advanced runs like The Chutes. Prior competition experience is beneficial but not essential.
Schedule: Starts 16 July 2026

3 training days a week from 16 July, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday

School term: Coaching is from 9am - 3pm each day with check-in at 8.45am

School holidays: Coaching is from 9am - 2.30pm each day with check-in at 8.45am
